Copperheads Design Confidentiality Policy

At Copperheads (“Platform”, “we”, “us”, “our”) owned and operated by Tanay’s Laboratory of Copper Private Limited, we understand that PCB designs and related technical information may be commercially sensitive. This page describes, in general terms, how such information is handled when you use the Platform.

1. Ownership of Designs

All design files, specifications, and related materials uploaded to the Platform remain the property of the customer.

We do not claim ownership or intellectual property rights in customer designs. Design submissions are processed for the purpose of enabling the services offered on the Platform.

2. Use of Design Information

Design information is used for purposes connected with the operation of the Platform and the provision of requested services, including:
• Automated analysis and preprocessing
• Pricing and manufacturability assessment
• Order processing and fulfilment

We do not use customer designs for purposes unrelated to providing services through the Platform.

3. Sharing with Manufacturing Partners

To enable manufacturing and order fulfilment, relevant information may be shared with manufacturing partners.
Where reasonably practicable:
• Information shared is limited to what is necessary for manufacturing and delivery
• Data transmission may occur through secured communication channels
• Access to information may be restricted based on operational requirements

Manufacturing partners are independent entities and may operate under their own policies and processes.

4. Data Handling & Security

Design files and related information are transmitted to our systems using technical measures intended to reduce the risk of unauthorised access.
While we implement safeguards appropriate to the nature of the Platform, no electronic storage or transmission system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
